Are you a professional photographer or creative practitioner eager to share your knowledge and experience with aspiring photographers? The School of Creative Arts and Fashion at The City of Liverpool College is seeking an enthusiastic Photography Lecturer to join our bank staffing team. As a Photography Lecturer, you will bring expertise in photographic practice, image-making, visual storytelling, studio techniques, and digital post-production. You will support students in developing technical skills, creative confidence, and professional knowledge of the photography industry.
Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons, facilitating practical workshops, assessing student work, and tracking learner progress to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Our Photography provision is delivered within specialist studios and darkroom facilities and forms part of a vibrant creative community encompassing Art and Design, Fashion, Graphic Design, and Creative Media. We are passionate about providing innovative learning experiences and maintaining strong links with industry professionals, employers, and cultural organisations to enrich student learning and progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- As an approved Bank Lecturer with The City of Liverpool College, there may be a range of teaching opportunities available throughout the academic year. These can vary from occasional or infrequent teaching hours to regular weekly commitments, including substantial teaching allocations across one or more days per week.
- In some instances, bank appointments may also lead to fixed-term opportunities for the duration of an academic year or progression into more permanent teaching roles, subject to curriculum need, student enrolment numbers, and performance.
- Bank appointments are designed to provide flexibility for both the College and applicants, enabling us to respond effectively to fluctuations in student recruitment and curriculum demand whilst providing opportunities for experienced industry professionals and educators to join our teaching community.
