Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting duties across Finance teams.
  • Prepare budgets.
  • Conduct internal audits.
  • Support treasury management.
  • Assist procurement processes.

Training & Performance:

Trainees will undergo a structured three‑year programme with measurable performance objectives at each placement. Upon completion of the fixed‑term contract the position with the Council is not guaranteed; candidates may apply for internal roles.

Eligibility:

Candidates must hold an SCQF 10 degree (Honours). Candidates who meet the minimum criteria and are disabled or have care experience are guaranteed an interview.
