Craigmount High School is a six‑year non‑denominational secondary school located in north‑west Edinburgh, serving approximately 1,400 pupils.

Salary: £35,022 – £52,740

Hours: 35 per week

Role Overview: As a member of our staff you will be expected to exercise a style which reflects the school’s aims and values, promote a positive ethos of achievement, foster strong links with parents and the wider community, and develop the work of the school appropriately. Craigmount is committed to raising attainment and providing enrichment opportunities, and values the development of the whole person. The relationships between staff and pupils, and between different groups of pupils, are excellent, and pastoral care and social development are priorities.

Regulatory: This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An overseas criminal record check will be required for those who have spent 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years. Salary will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
