Overview

Skilled Road Workers are key members of the Roads Operations Team. If you want to be able to say \’I did that\’, \’I made a difference\’ and \’I made my mark\’, join our team and play a central role in leading and shaping the success of Roads Operations, delivering road and street maintenance and improvements and also keeping people moving safely about the City during Winter Weather.

Salary £29,173 – £33,287 • Hours 36 per week

Responsibilities

• Join existing squads city-wide to ensure streets are maintained to the highest standards.
• Contribute to drainage, surfacing and/or slabbing/kerbing work in a roads environment.
• Support winter maintenance and other maintenance activities as required.
• Potential opportunity to increase earnings by working occasional overtime.

Qualifications/Experience

• Experience in drainage, surfacing and/or slabbing/kerbing in a roads environment.
