Skilled Roadworkers are key members of the Roads Operations Team. If you want to be able to say \’I did that\’, \’I made a difference\’ and \’I made my mark\’, join our team and play a central role in leading and shaping the success of Roads Operations, delivering road and street maintenance and improvements and also keeping people moving safely about the City during Winter Weather.
Responsibilities
- Join existing squads city-wide and work in drainage, surfacing and/or slabbing/kerbing to maintain streets to the highest standards.
- Deliver road and street maintenance and improvements and keep people moving safely during Winter Weather.
- Potential opportunity to increase earnings by working occasional overtime and winter maintenance.
Qualifications
- Experience in drainage, surfacing and/or slabbing/kerbing in a roads environment.
