Salary: £46,023 – £54,476

Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks (working pattern: Monday to Friday)

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR Consultant to play a key role within our Payroll, Benefits & pension Team to manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant salary payments for all staff and all 3rd party payments. This is an exciting opportunity available within our HR Payroll, Benefits & Pension team as we are recruiting for 1 permanent position.

Responsibilities

Lead a specialist team of Payroll, Benefits & Pension specialists to ensure delivery of payroll/benefit services and operations to employees, managers and external customers.

Support the ongoing development of services, including the benefits platform, and provision to colleagues to drive continuous improvement.

Deliver regulatory compliance with statutory bodies through robust controls and measures, whilst also fulfilling high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Support wider HR projects and initiatives that support the Council\’s strategic objectives.

Requirements

Strong customer focus and flexible approach with the ability to work in a demanding deadline-driven environment.

Experience in payroll, benefits, and pension operations and compliance.
