This post provides an excellent opportunity for anyone who has a degree within early years or is working towards a degree qualification.

Equity and Excellence Leads (EELs) are allocated to identified settings and work directly with children. As part of the role, there is ongoing high-quality CLPL to support intervention work which will improve outcomes for some of our youngest learners.

Responsibilities
  • Allocate EELs to identified settings and work directly with children.
  • Deliver high-quality CLPL to support intervention work.
  • Improve outcomes for young learners through targeted interventions.
Qualifications
  • Degree in early years or an equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 scheme or complete an update check.
  • Provision of an overseas criminal record check if spent 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years.
