Job Summary
The City of Edinburgh Council is leading one of the most ambitious new build housing programmes in the country. Delivery of new affordable homes is a key action within Edinburgh's Housing Emergency Action Plan. We are looking for an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join the Development & Regeneration team and help lead and deliver key projects and programmes of work.
Responsibilities
- Lead major capital building or housing-led regeneration projects and programmes.
- Appoint and manage design teams, project managers and other consultants.
- Work in partnership with Council colleagues, local communities and other stakeholders to provide strong communication and engagement.
- Drive delivery on time and within budget, taking ownership to drive delivery.
Qualifications
- Senior-level experience delivering major capital building or housing-led regeneration projects and programmes.
- Excellent knowledge of the full development lifecycle including construction, statutory approvals, development finance and procurement.
- Construction-related qualification.
