Hours: 27 per week, 40 weeks sessional Mon – Thurs 08:30‑16:00
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic School Administrator to manage the smooth operation of our school office and reception. The role is front‑facing, fast‑paced and essential to the daily functioning of our Nursery and P1‑P7 classes.
Responsibilities
- Report to the School Business Manager.
- Provide efficient front‑desk and office support in a busy environment.
- Maintain school records, correspondence and administrative tasks.
- Facilitate communication with parents, staff and external parties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quick‑paced front‑desk or administrative role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Regulatory Requirements
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Those with a continuous period of 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years will need an Overseas Criminal Record Check.
