The predicted salary is between 27257 - 29850 £ per year.

Salary: £27,257 – £29,850 (pro rata for part‐time and sessional). Hours: 32 per week, 40 weeks sessional. Monday to Friday.

We are a Catholic Primary school that has been part of the Lochend Community since the 1930s. We have 30 children attending our nursery class. In the main school, we have 197 children across 8 classes, of which two are composite classes. Our nursery class and school population are very diverse, with children of many nationalities and 21 different home languages spoken.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a wide range of administrative, clerical and general office support services.
  • Manage the school diary and provide a confidential PA service to the Head Teacher.
  • Provide a welcoming environment for parents and visitors, ensuring any difficulties are dealt with confidentially and appropriately.
  • Support lunchtime activities in the nursery class (in addition to duties of early years domestic and nursery team).
  • Work collaboratively with the School Leadership Team, Nursery Team, School Administrator, School Support Assistant and Pupil Support Assistants.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience of delivering administrative, clerical and general office support services.
  • Ability to manage the school diary and provide a confidential PA service.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of working with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
  • PVG Scheme or PVG Scheme update check; overseas criminal record check if spent 3 months or more outside the UK in last 5 years.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
