Pupil Support Worker – Murrayburn Primary Enhanced Support Base (ESB).

Salary: £27,257 – £29,850 (pro‑rata for part‑time and sessional).

Hours: 27.5 per week, 39 weeks sessional.

Murrayburn Primary is located in the west of the city in the Sighthill area. The ESB has three classes with a maximum of eight pupils each, a teacher and two PSWs. EYP and Nursery Nurse support is also provided across the class structure. Most pupils have an Autism Spectrum Diagnosis and additional support needs, including personal care.

The start date is 10 August 2026.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience working with children with ASN.
  • A valid First Aid qualification would be advantageous.
  • This role requires a Personal Vulnerability Group (PVG) clearance for children.
  • Candidate must provide a PVG scheme membership or an update check.
  • If the candidate has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an overseas criminal record check is required.
