Working hours: Mon‑Thurs 8:00 am – 3:30 pm; Fri 8:00 am – 12:15 pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the ongoing health, safety and welfare of pupils.
  • Assist pupils with additional support needs (e.g., Autism) to organise their day, engage in learning and follow instructions.
  • Provide personal care support as required.
  • Support the Enhanced Support team in delivering flexible learning pathways and championing the rights of all pupils.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience working as part of a school team.
  • Experience supporting pupils with additional support needs, such as Autism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Commitment to championing the rights of all young people.
  • Will join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme or undertake an update check.
  • Will provide an overseas criminal record check if required.
