The predicted salary is between 27257 - 29850 £ per year.

Salary: £27,257 – £29,850 (pro‑ratio for part‑time and sessional). Hours: 27.5 per week, 39 weeks sessional. Working pattern: 8:40‑3:25 Mon‑Thu; 8:40‑12:30 Fri (Term Time only).

We are looking for conscientious, committed candidates with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join our Enhanced Support Base. The role supports pupils with complex additional support needs across three classrooms.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support in learning and communication for pupils.
  • Offer personal care as required, demonstrating patience and a caring, practical nature.
  • Stay calm under pressure and remain solution‑focused.
  • Work collaboratively within the team and engage in training opportunities.
  • Use own initiative and demonstrate a flexible mindset.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Desirable: previous experience working in a school.
  • Ability to use initiative and adapt to changing situations.
Required Checks
  • Registered or willing to register with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme.
  • Willing to undergo an overseas criminal record check if required.
