Position Overview

This permanent position is based at one of our two campuses, Warrender Park Road or Gillespie Street. As Edinburgh’s Gaelic high school, spoken/written Gaelic and an understanding of Gaelic culture would be advantageous.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic, with demonstrated contributions to department and whole school activities in previous posts. We are recruiting for regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. A conditional offer will be subject to satisfactory completion of these checks.
