Salary: £25,905 - £26,111 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional). Hours: 27.50 per week, 39 weeks sessional.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to support pupils within the classroom. Pupil Support Assistants are required to join the Support for Learning team, assisting and encouraging students with the ultimate aim of maximising attainment and support for all pupils. You will be joining a high achieving and successful department and other teams of staff who are dedicated to providing the best for all young people. You should be committed to further raising the attainment and achievement of all our pupils.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils within the classroom.
- Assist and encourage students to maximise attainment.
- Join the Support for Learning team to provide support for all pupils.
- Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
- Requirement for Overseas Criminal Record Check if spent continuous 3 months or more out with the UK in last 5 years.
- Unconditional offer contingent upon satisfactory pre-employment checks.
