This is an exciting opportunity in a new school that opened three years ago in the south of Edinburgh, featuring nurturing, creative, and well-resourced learning environments. The school includes two classes each for Primary 1 to Primary 5 and an Early Learning and Childcare facility, with inspiring outdoor spaces for daily access to outdoor learning.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Work as part of a team with training opportunities to support children and young people.
- Previous experience in a school is desirable.
Legal and Background Check Requirements:
- This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
- An Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required for individuals who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years.
- Employment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks.
