<div><h2>Occupational Therapist – Fixed Term until 23/06/2027</h2> <p>South East Locality</p> <p>Salary: £40,501 - £47,639, Hours: 36 per week</p> <p>We are looking for a full time Occupational Therapist to join the South East Community Occupational Therapy team.

Do you enjoy supporting people in the community and helping them find solutions to living safely and independently at home?
If so, we think you could join our supportive team in the South East Locality.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Undertake assessments and good conversations with people living in the community.</li> <li>Work alongside Social Workers, Community Care Assistants and Health Professionals to promote a multi‑disciplinary approach to living well at home.</li> <li>Promote and facilitate good manual handling practice, including risk assessment and providing care plans.</li> <li>Assess for, prescribe and review the provision of equipment, minor and major adaptations and supportive services in accordance with good practice and Council policies.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications & Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy recognised by the Health and Care Professions Council and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.</li> <li>Approved for the PVG Scheme or required to undergo a PVG Scheme update check.</li> <li>Provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check if spent a continuous period of 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years.</li> <li>Compliance with preliminary checks will be required for a conditional offer.</li> </ul> <h2>Inclusive Workforce</h2> <p>We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone feels valued and able to be their best.
