Position: Early Years Practitioner – Fixed term until 28/2/2027

Location: East Craigs Primary School

Remuneration: Salary: £30,188 – £34,452 (pro‑rata for part‑time and sessional)

Hours: 20 per week, 39 weeks sessional

Role Overview: East Craigs Primary is looking for an experienced Early Years practitioner to join the team on a fixed‑term basis. The successful candidate will have significant recent experience working within a nursery environment and will work alongside our current experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within a nursery environment and collaborate with experienced colleagues to deliver high‑quality early years education.

Key Qualifications:

  • Significant recent experience working within a nursery environment and relevant skills to support early years provision.

Pre‑Employment Checks: Post will require a Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 check. Those with continuous overseas travel of 3 months or more in the last 5 years must provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check.
