CRANE Offender Accommodation Service, Justice Services – responsible for managing people assessed as presenting a high risk of harm within a residential unit. The role works closely with Justice Services Social Workers and professionals from other agencies to help residents transition back into the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work a variable rota shift pattern, including weekday, weekend and overnight (sleep‑over) shifts.
- Support residents to link back into the community and manage their transition from prison.
- Develop effective working relationships with Justice and wider social work services, partner agencies (Scottish Prison Service, Police, Health and Housing).
- Ensure service follows operational procedures and maintains public protection standards.
- Contribute to multi‑agency risk management planning and facilitate sharing of information.
