We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR Consultant to play a key role within our Payroll, Benefits & Pension Team, managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant salary payments for all staff and all third-party payments.
Responsibilities
- Lead a specialist team of Payroll, Benefits & Pension specialists to ensure delivery of payroll/benefit services to employees, managers and external customers.
- Support ongoing development of services, including the benefits platform, and provide training to colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
- Deliver regulatory compliance with statutory bodies through robust controls and measures, achieving high accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Support wider HR projects and initiatives that align with the Council’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and a flexible approach, with the ability to work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
