ICT Officer (Support/Development) – Fixed term until 30/10/2026. 36 hours per week, 52 weeks a year. Salary £33,287 – £39,129 per annum.
Location: Waverley Court, Council Headquarters, Waverley Court 3.3, 4 East Market Street.
The City of Edinburgh Council’s Customer and Digital Services department has a fixed‑term vacancy for an ICT Officer to provide day‑to‑day IT support and support on ongoing projects within Digital Services for Human Resources.
Responsibilities
- Provide helpdesk support and assist in managing HR\’s core IT systems, with emphasis on Oracle.
- Support the development and maintenance of HR systems in line with the Council’s Digital Strategy.
- Work closely with the HR Digital Support Team and other business areas to execute business process changes and support future developments.
- Deliver project support, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to system enhancements.
Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle or a similar HR system.
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and deliver solutions to digital challenges.
- Flexible, proactive, customer‑driven, and open to emerging technologies.
