Handyperson – Inchview Care Home
Salary: £26,806 - £27,032 (pro‑rate for part‑time). Hours: 18 per week. Working Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:00 and Friday 08:00 – 14:30.
Social care is a challenging and rewarding career. Handyperson staff work with some of Edinburgh’s most vulnerable residents. Working in Adult Social Care can make a real difference to the lives of adults and is extremely rewarding.
You don’t need previous experience in Adult Social Care to apply. The post holder will have knowledge of basic building and DIY skills and must be able to use necessary equipment to carry out the post’s requirements.

Pre‑employment Checks
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Applicants must provide this check. An unconditional offer will be subject to satisfactory outcome of both checks.
