Overview
Place Facilities Technician Supervisor – South Queensferry & Kirkliston areas
Salary: £29,173 – £33,287
Hours: 36 per week
Week 1: 7am – 3pm (48-minute break)
Week 2: 1pm – 9pm (48-minute break)
We are looking for a Facilities Technician Supervisor to join the team to cover several buildings in the South Queensferry & Kirkliston areas. Shifts will be pro rata consisting of week 1 and week 2; therefore, the successful candidate will need to be flexible in their working hours. The successful candidate will have a number of buildings allocated to them and be responsible for managing a number of janitorial staff within the area.
Responsibilities
- Manage a number of buildings and supervise janitorial staff within the area.
- Auditing, provide good customer service and problem solving where required (experience preferred).
- Adhere to IT equipment and software package requirements as part of the role.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outwith the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide these checks. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
