Facilities and Housekeeping Assistant
Location: Lagganlia centre for outdoor learning, Kincraig.
Salary: £24,796 – £25,041 (pro‑rated for part time)
Hours: 12 per week, 52 weeks a year.
Key Responsibilities
- To be responsible for general cleaning, practical laundry tasks and basic catering support at the Outdoor Centre in accordance with service standards and health & safety requirements, under the direction of the Facilities Coordinator.
- Support both school groups and commercial/hospitality guests, ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming to a high professional standard.
- Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and conscientiously at all times, contributing to the delivery of an excellent visitor experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in cleaning, laundry or hospitality roles is desirable.
- Must be able to meet the requirements of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, i.e. join the PVG scheme or undergo an updated check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years you will be required to provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check.
- Unconditional offer of employment and commencement depend on satisfactory pre‑employment checks.
