James Gillespie’s High School is looking to recruit a Teacher of Psychology on a fixed term contract until 18 December 2026. The salary ranges from £36,159 to £54,453 for 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

The preferred candidate will be enthusiastic and have demonstrated contributions to department and whole school activities in previous posts. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required for individuals who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years.
