We are seeking to recruit a Pupil Support Assistant at Echline Primary School on a Fixed Term contract until April 2027, working 20 hours per week over 4 days. Days and times to be agreed, however, we would need the preferred candidate to work a Monday and a Friday as part of this week.
We currently have a pupil support team working throughout the school to support learning, teaching and inclusion, and we are looking for another committed, passionate and inspiring member to join our team. This Pupil Support Assistant post involves working with children who require 121 support within the school. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally within the school environment.
Experience of working 121 with children is desirable. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
