We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced project/programme manager to join our Change and Transformation team to lead work focused on establishing and embedding a new organisation-wide governance framework to enable and provide robust assurance around change. Part of this work will also include identifying and deploying a digital solution to best support the framework, so experience in leading digital projects and programmes would be ideal.
You must enjoy a fast-paced project management environment and want to be part of change and transformation in the public sector, improving services for the people of Edinburgh. You will be responsible for all aspects of programme management, will be outcome focused and will maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders.
We Are Looking For Candidates With Experience Of:
- Planning, leading, developing, and managing governance redesign programmes in a complex environment
- Designing digital architecture to support governance
- Driving positive change and achieving improved customer services and efficiency benefits
- Budget and financial management, including procurement and ensuring value for money
- Applying change and project management techniques and methodologies
- Agile working and leadership (scrum, agile ceremonies, etc) and ability to build weave this with waterfall processes
The Programme Manager will be responsible for the management, development and implementation of a strategic and operational change programme. In addition, they will lead on other projects and initiatives that support the Council's strategic objectives.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. Happy to talk flexible working.
