Greendykes Early Years Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic team-player who works collaboratively as a member of the early years team within council early years provision. The role involves assisting in meeting the educational, care and welfare needs of all children, ensuring those with additional support needs can effectively access the curriculum.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being flexible and assisting in carrying out general clerical duties as required in support of children’s learning.
- Providing support and assistance in the day-to-day operations of the Early Years Centre as directed by the Head Teacher/Head of Centre or nominated staff.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required for individuals who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years.
