Broughton nursery offers Early Learning and Childcare to children aged 3-5 years. The nursery is located in the North East of the city and operates across two sites, one is part of Broughton Primary School and the other is based within Drummond Community High School. At present we can accommodate up to 50 children in our Broughton nursery, and 15 in our Drummond nursery.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our skilled and motivated team. At Broughton we are committed to providing an excellent early years’ experience, based on mutual respect, partnership, participation and fun. We are looking to recruit a part-time, passionate and driven Early Years Assistant to join our existing dynamic nursery team. Our staff team is made up of a combination of 52-week staff and 39-week, term time staff. This position will eventually be based within the new purpose-built centre which will be in the vicinity of the school and is due to open in the future with a capacity for up to 120 children.
The nursery is supported with trained staff, in an environment that is both warm and welcoming. We support all learners to be the best they can, in a literacy and numeracy rich environment. We aim to provide the highest possible standard of Early Education and Childcare in a nurturing, caring, safe and stimulating environment where children learn and grow at their own pace. We support each child’s holistic development through play.
