St. John Vianney RC Primary School

Salary: £26,205 - £26,525 (pro rata for part time)

Hours: 5 per week, 38 weeks sessional

An opportunity has arisen to join our small Breakfast Club Team at St John Vianney RC Primary School. Our school is very multi-cultural, with over 30 languages/countries celebrated across our community. We currently have 9 classes from P1-P7, with up to 40 pupils attending our daily Breakfast Club.

We have an excellent, supportive and highly self-evaluative staff who play an active role in the direction the school takes. While we are a Catholic school, we accept people of all faiths, celebrating the diversity and culture these bring to us, a significant influence in our school culture and ethos. The Breakfast Club is supported by our School Management Team of Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher, Principal Teacher and Business Manager.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual who is committed to providing high quality provision to all children. We value a team player.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
