Gracemount Primary Nursery would like to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Officer to their team.
Overview
We are looking for a passionate leader to support children to be confident, capable individuals and help them to achieve their full potential. Our Early Years Officers will monitor the quality and impact of our environments, plan and interact with children, and develop and support their team to achieve the best outcomes for the children in our care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the quality and impact of our learning environments.
- Plan and deliver interactions with children that support their development.
- Support and develop team members to meet children's needs.
- Model excellent communication skills and effectively deploy team members.
- Know children and team members as individuals and learners.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in an Early Years setting.
Additional Information
All applicants must have leadership experience in an Early Years setting. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
