Salary: £26,806 - £27,032 (pro rata for sessional). Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional.

Stanwell Nursery School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic team‑player who works collaboratively as a member of the early years team within council early years provision.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in meeting the educational, care and welfare needs of all children, ensuring those with additional support needs who can attend a mainstream provision can effectively access the curriculum.
  • Provide support and assistance in the day‑to‑day operations of the Early Years Centre as directed by the Head Teacher/Head of Centre or nominated staff.
  • Assist in carrying out general clerical duties as and when required in support of children’s learning.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
  • Required to join the PVG scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check.
  • Individuals who have spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years must provide an overseas criminal record check.
