Location: Kirkliston Early Learning and Childcare (Scotland)
Salary: £26,806 – £27,032 (pro‑rated for part‑time)
Hours: 18 hours per week, 52 weeks per year: Monday‑Thursday 0915‑1315 and Friday 0900‑1200.
Capacity: 116 children from babies, 2‑year‑olds and 3‑to‑5‑year‑olds.
Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering the early years curriculum and daily care for children.
- Support child development and welfare within a regulated environment.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date safeguarding records in accordance with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Commitment to join PVG Scheme or provide a PVG Scheme update check.
- Availability of an Overseas Criminal Record Check if the applicant has spent continuous 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years.
- Ability to work the part‑time schedule described above.
