Salary: £26,806 – £27,032 (pro rata for part time and sessional)

Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the early years team in meeting the educational, care and welfare needs of all children, including those with additional support needs.
  • Provide general clerical support as directed by the Head Teacher or nominated staff.
  • Support the day‑to‑day operations of the Early Years Centre.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme or complete an update check; provide an overseas criminal record check if a continuous period of 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years.
  • Commit to pre‑employment checks – the offer of employment is contingent on satisfactory outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the early years team.
