We’re looking for two graphic designers to join our award-winning communications team. You'll bring creative ideas to life across multiple formats and channels from traditional print to digital content.
You will work alongside our marketing/communications professional to promote Council services as well as contribute to behaviour change and other campaigns. You'll manage multiple creative projects so you must be organised and stay calm under pressure. You’ll be supported by clear brand guidelines, giving you the framework to deliver consistent, effective work while still bringing your own creative judgement.
If you thrive in a busy environment, working collaboratively, have attention to detail and are experienced on working within an organisation's creative brand while contributing to its development, this is a chance to work on projects that make a difference to people.
Qualifications
You must have a graphic design qualification (preferably degree level), solid Adobe CS skills and be able to demonstrate that you've delivered creative campaigns within a complex and diverse organisation. One post will work closely with teams in our cultural venues, museums and galleries including Usher Hall, Assembly Rooms and City Art Centre. For this post, you should have experience of exhibition design.
