Clerical Assistant providing reliable administrative support across a range of formats including telephone, face‑to‑face, e‑mail and online school systems. Working as part of the school office team Monday to Thursday 08:00–15:50 and Friday 08:00–13:20.
Hours: 33.42 per week, 39 weeks sessional.
Salary: £26,806–£27,032 (pro rata for part‑time and sessional).
Key Responsibilities- Deliver accurate and responsive administrative support to staff and students.
- Manage telephone enquiries, face‑to‑face requests, e‑mail correspondence and online tasks using school systems.
- Maintain a positive, can‑do attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Support the school office in maintaining records, scheduling and information management.
- Skilled, motivated and experienced clerical assistant.
- Prior experience in a school setting not essential but desirable.
- Demonstrated experience of reliable administrative support across multiple formats.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work the specified hours.
- PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) Scheme membership or willingness to undertake a PVG Scheme update check (required for regulated work with children and / or protected adults).
- Overseas Criminal Record Check required for those who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years.
