Fixed term until 30/06/2027. Location: Waverley Court. Salary: £40,501 - £47,639. Hours: 36 per week.

Responsibilities

  • Take a lead role in managing contact with private owners and tenants during single building assessments.
  • Oversee cladding remediation works under the Housing (Cladding Remediation) (Scotland) Act where required.
  • Produce and distribute communications and newsletters to keep owners and tenants informed of progress throughout each stage of the process.
  • Deliver common repairs projects to enable investment to be taken forward in mixed tenure blocks where the Council has an interest as a co‑owner/landlord.
  • Assist in securing private owner agreement to support delivery of common repairs projects.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong case management skills.
  • Commitment and drive to assist the surveying team in the delivery of large‑scale housing investment.
  • Experience in customer services, IT systems operation, and administration.
  • Ability to think strategically and work with stakeholders to develop innovative approaches to delivering investment to mixed tenure blocks.
