Salary: £26,806 - £27,032 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)

Hours: 6 per week, 38 weeks sessional Monday‑Friday 7.45am – 9.00am

Role Overview

Dean Park’s Breakfast Club offers a safe, warm and welcoming environment where pupils can enjoy eating a healthy breakfast and socialise with other children before the school day starts. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Breakfast Club Team and support the safe delivery of our large breakfast club provision. Experience in working with children is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the safe delivery of the breakfast club provision.
  • Engage with pupils to ensure a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Assist with breakfast preparation and setting up the area for children.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working with children (desirable).

Mandatory Mandates

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre‑employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
