Hours: 6.40 per week, 38 weeks sessional
Working pattern: Monday – Friday 07:30‑08:50
The Breakfast Club provides a safe, welcoming, and social environment for pupils and a healthy breakfast before the start of their school day.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the breakfast club provision.
- Oversee a small staff team.
- Engage pupils in a range of activities and ensure a quality breakfast is provided.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children in a primary school or out‑of‑school childcare setting.
- Confidence in leading and managing a small team.
- Current food hygiene qualification (preferred).
Checks & Compliance:
- Position is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
- Overseas Criminal Record Check required for those who have spent 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years.
