We’re looking for a Digital Rights & Data Management Lead to help us protect, manage, and improve how we handle digital content and data across the business. This is a highly technical role and we are looking for a candidate with expertise in SharePoint Data Governance Management.

In this role you will ensure collaboration, file sharing, and SharePoint environments are optimised for effective content management. You’ll take ownership of our Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems, support compliance with data policies, and make sure our content stays secure and accessible. You’ll also work with teams across the organisation to share your expertise and ensure best practices are in place. You will be working on a hybrid basis with a mix of home and either our London or Wakefield office. This is a permanent role with some excellent benefits and a competitive package on offer.

As our DRM and Data Management expert, you will:

  • Oversee, implement, and optimise DRM systems and application-level DRM.
  • Manage and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, including sensitivity labels, across SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Lead on data governance activities to ensure compliance with internal and external digital rights policies.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for DRM and provide guidance across departments.
  • Collaborate closely with Information Security & Data Privacy teams to protect digital content and manage incidents.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in digital rights protection and secure content collaboration.
  • Ensure high system availability, performance, and alignment with DRM and security standards.
  • Influence key stakeholders and advise senior leaders on reputational risks and compliance strategies.

About you:

  • Strong experience with DRM, DLP, SharePoint and cloud platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of data governance and digital content protection.
  • Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
  • The ability to explain complex ideas clearly to non-technical teams.
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside standard hours to support critical DRM or data management activities.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation tools.
  • Awareness of relevant security standards (e.g. Cyber Essentials Plus).

We offer the opportunity to work in an innovative, engaging and market-leading organisation with opportunities to develop your existing skills and explore new ones. You’ll receive an excellent benefits package which typically includes a great base salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and buy/sell annual leave scheme, private medical healthcare, Life Assurance, Group Income Protection, enhanced Company Pension and many other voluntary benefits. Employees' health and wellbeing is very important to the Group, and we have a range of tools available to help employees with their mental health and wellbeing.

If you think this is the role and organisation for you then we would love to hear from you. Please submit your CV and complete our short application form using the apply button.
