The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.
To be successful in the post, we are looking for someone who will provide assistance and support to meet the practical requirements of the Design and Technology (DT) curriculum. They will prepare, provide, maintain and manage the necessary resources and information required to enable safe and engaging practical activities to be undertaken by staff and students.
Maintain an appropriate Health and Safety culture ensuring that all relevant Health and Safety regulations and guidelines are adhered to at all times.
- Good literacy and numeracy competency (including GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above), or equivalent qualifications.
- Educated to a minimum of A Level standard in art and/or design technology and/or equivalent experience in art and/or design technology experience.
- Ability to work with equipment and systems needed to undertake the role to a high standard.
- Knowledge of safe working practices in relation to the handling and usage of hazardous equipment and tools which may include knowledge of COSHH regulations and/or CLEAPPS guidance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non‑technical users.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload, meeting deadlines and responding to ad hoc requests.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
