The Senior Legal Officer, working in cooperation with Legal Officers and Mercator Client Servicing Teams across locations, supports multinational clients in meeting increasing regulatory and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients, Citco offices, law firms, and third parties.
- Supervise the designated client portfolio, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality processing of all queries and requests.
- Draft, review, and provide feedback on corporate documents throughout the company lifecycle, from incorporation to dissolution, in accordance with legal requirements and deadlines.
- Perform and monitor statutory filings with local authorities.
- Assist in coaching and developing team members for their professional growth.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on legal changes in relevant jurisdictions and ensure compliance with international and industry-specific legal requirements.
- Assist with client migration and onboarding processes.
Qualifications
About You:
- Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Law.
- 3-5 years of experience providing corporate services to international clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Flexible, proactive, detail-oriented team player with excellent communication skills.
