About The Team

Through our global office network, we provide a full suite of corporate administrative services to set up, administer and maintain corporate entities throughout their life cycle. You will work with, amongst others, asset and investment managers, multinationals, HNWI’s and their family offices to provide critical support that helps them meet the increasing regulatory and compliance requirements that shape the industry.

Responsibilities

Role Overview & Purpose

As Managing Director, you will lead Citco’s corporate and fiduciary services business in London, combining client leadership, commercial oversight, and operational excellence. Working closely with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders, you will help ensure the delivery of high-quality corporate administration, governance, and fiduciary services while supporting business growth and maintaining a strong control environment. This is a highly visible leadership role that contributes directly to the success, reputation, and long-term development of Citco’s business.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

  • Lead Client Relationships & Business Growth
    • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing oversight and guidance on corporate governance, directorship, and management services.
    • Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of service and identifying opportunities for future growth.
    • Partner with business development and sales teams to support new business opportunities, cross-sell services, and expand market relationships.
    • Represent Citco externally through industry events, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives that enhance brand visibility and market presence.
  • Drive Business Performance
    • Develop and deliver the annual business plan for the London office, tracking progress against strategic objectives.
    • Oversee budgeting, revenue performance, accounts receivable and cost management to support sustainable business growth and financial targets.
    • Monitor business performance and take appropriate action to address risks or opportunities as they arise.
  • Lead and Develop Teams
    • Provide leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team of accountants, corporate administrators, and compliance professionals.
    • Create an environment that promotes collaboration, accountability, professional growth, and exceptional client service.
    • Support effective prioritization and execution across multiple business activities and client engagements.
  • Governance, Risk & Regulatory Oversight
    • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulatory requirements, risk frameworks, and internal controls.
    • Maintain strong oversight of KYC, AML, compliance, audit, business continuity, and broader risk management activities.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on market developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
    • Oversee the preparation and timely completion of statutory reporting and company financial accounts.

Particularly Relevant Experience

  • Experience working with investment managers, multinational organizations, family offices, or similar client groups.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirements relevant to corporate administration services.

Experience & Skills (Requirements)

  • Masters level degree in Law, Accounting, Economics & Law (MER) or Economics would be a distinct advantage with at least 6 years’ experience of managing senior staff.
  • Strong knowledge of and proven network in the asset servicing industry, corporate fiduciary and administration industry, clients, with an established feeder network.
  • Experience with and knowledge of legal entity management and provision of directorship and management services, and corporate governance activities.
  • Strong financial/accounting and analytical skills and the ability to deliver high-quality service.
  • Knowledge of preparation of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Commercial, dynamic attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
  • Ability to set priorities, be flexible and highly accurate.
  • You are able to manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work.
