We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the delivery team of a rapidly growing organisation. Reporting directly to the Technology Programme Director, this key role will manage the delivery of strategic technology projects across the Group. This role will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software solutions, system integrations and process improvements across the organisation and systems used by internal colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Service and Finance.
The successful candidate will ensure that the project meets business objectives, stays on schedule and on budget and delivers the agreed scope. The business has experienced significant growth, largely through acquisition, leading to a complex landscape of disparate systems and processes. This transformation initiative aims to streamline, integrate, and optimise core business systems to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional collaboration. The Technical Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating technology solutions, managing stakeholders, and driving the successful implementation of new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Lead and manage the business system transformation project, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategy.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, defining scope, timelines, resources, and key milestones.
- Own and oversee project change control processes, assessing the impact of scope changes on timelines, costs, and resources.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, proactively implementing mitigation strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables meet contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and project sponsor.
- Drive agile project management practices and foster a collaborative, results-driven environment.
