The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the AI team at Citation. Since being formed just over a year ago we have already delivered several different projects in the areas of AI and Data Science and we only expect this to increase in the coming years.
The AI Project Manager will play a key role in delivering both Generative AI and Machine Learning Projects. They will be involved in the full lifecycle of a project, from helping to define and document requirements to facilitating a testing and deployment plan. They will work with both the technical delivery team and the business stakeholders to ensure that the projects are on track to meet their goals and ensure that what is being delivered aligns with the needs of the business. Throughout the project you will be expected to promote good ways of working and good communication. Finally you will need to ensure that we can properly articulate the benefits of our hard work to senior stakeholders.
The Person
We are looking for someone who can roll their sleeves up and ‘dig in’ with the rest of the team. In addition, the successful candidate should have:
· The ability to translate business requirements into well-formed objectives with clear deliverables and benefits.
· Lead workshop sessions; ensure stakeholders are engaged during these sessions, focus on objectives/outputs and guide the definition of business processes/requirements ensuring that they are aligned with business objectives.
· The ability to understand the end to end business process, including the technology that delivers each step of the process and be able to suggest ways to improve.
· Work with senior stakeholder to identify and prioritise business outcomes and needs, to ensure business value is delivered as soon as possible in the lifecycle
· Interact and communicate clearly and regularly with technical teams.
· Works collaboratively with a range of people to support the wider business agenda
· Have a delivery focus to ensure that the projects keeps to the defined scope and deadlines.
· Have at least a basic understanding of different techniques in AI and Data Science and how they can be used to drive business value.
Nice to Have Experience:
In addition to the above we will look favourable on candidates who,
· Are experienced with different ways of working such as Agile or Waterfall.
· Have hands on experience in a technical role related to Data and Analytics, Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
· Experience with sales especially B2B sales.
· A basic understanding of Generative AI and Machine learning capabilities
· Experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning projects
