Deputy Director of Education (Inclusion)
We are seeking a Deputy Director of Education (Inclusion) to work closely with the Director of Education in driving high standards of educational provision, inclusion and pupil outcomes across our schools.
This opportunity offers an exciting next step for an ambitious leader looking to influence inclusion, wellbeing and educational outcomes across our family of schools.
This influential role will champion inclusion and ensure that all pupils, particularly those with SEND, eligible for Pupil Premium, pupils with EAL, and other vulnerable learners, receive the support they need to achieve and flourish. You will work closely with school leaders to strengthen Quality First Teaching, drive improvements in attendance, wellbeing and inclusion, and support schools in delivering outstanding provision for every child.
Key responsibilities include supporting SENDCos and Pupil Premium Leads, monitoring the progress of vulnerable groups, overseeing pupil wellbeing and mental health provision, ensuring effective use of Pupil Premium funding, supporting collaborative work with families and external agencies, and contributing to the Trust’s wider improvement strategy. You will also monitor the use of alternative provision arrangements, support the resolution of complaints and concerns, and prepare reports for Trustees as required.
