Skills & Experience

Ideally, you will have experience of teaching in upper KS2,although we are interested in hearing from teachers who can demonstrate theskills, commitment and enthusiasm needed to make a real difference to ourpupils.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of theprimary curriculum.
  • High expectations of teaching, learning andpupil behaviour.
  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging,purposeful and inclusive learning.
  • Experience of using assessment effectively toidentify gaps and plan next steps.
  • The ability to adapt teaching to meet the needsof all learners, including pupils with SEND.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships withpupils, colleagues and families.
  • A commitment to inclusion and ensuring everychild has the opportunity to succeed.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of ateam.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting thewelfare of children.
  • A willingness to reflect, learn and continuallydevelop professional practice.

Experience of upper KS2 is desirable, but we are equallyinterested in the qualities, skills and commitment you can bring to our school.
