Bennachie Parish Church was created in 2023 following the union of Blairdaff & Chapel of Garioch, Cluny & Monymusk, Echt & Midmar, Kemnay, and Kintore Churches. We are looking for an Outreach Parish Assistant who will play a key role within the Parish. The role will help develop creative, sustainable, and meaningful outreach and connection within the wider parish and local communities, strengthen our links with our own membership, and explore fresh expressions of all-age worship.
The successful candidate will have experience of outreach to families and/or adults aged 18-40, as well as experience in developing, running, and evaluating events. You should be comfortable in various congregational settings, including informal, formal, and interactive, with excellent communication skills and team working.
The successful candidate will be a committed Christian with an active Church connection (Genuine Occupational Requirement in terms of the Equality Act 2010).
It is essential you have the right to work in the UK before applying. You will need to provide proof of your eligibility to work and remain in the UK if invited for an interview.

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join the Business Support team of the General Trustees, supporting their Energy and Sustainability work. You will provide administrative support to the Trustees and Staff of the General Trustees and collaborate with colleagues as part of the wider administration team under the oversight of the Head of Business Support.

As part of the Faith Action team, you will support work with IME Probationers, those in their First Five Years, and others in recognized ministries, serving as the primary point of contact.

Within Ministries Support, you will help deliver key functions supporting Ministers and their families. This includes confidential conversations, preparing correspondence, detailed clinical case notes, sourcing therapeutic options, and following up on referrals.
Qualifications in a recognized counseling diploma or experience working in a mental health setting with over 5 years of experience are required. You should bring a friendly, professional manner capable of providing pastoral, discreet, and supportive responses to diverse needs.
This is a part-time, 14-hour weekly role that can be worked flexibly.
Another opportunity involves a Ministry Assistant focusing on the first Mark of Mission, mainly Sunday work. The candidate should have recent experience in leading worship and preaching, with a good understanding of congregational life in the Church of Scotland or willingness to learn. A relevant qualification in theology, pastoral care, counseling, or significant relevant work experience is required. You must have the right to work in the UK, with proof of eligibility required if invited for an interview.
