The benefice of Maidstone All Saints w St Phillip & St Stephen Tovil is a united parish seeking a skilled and experienced priest, familiar with leading a complex civic church. We are a people ready to be led by the Spirit into a new and exciting chapter, placing All Saints at the heart of a bustling county town and working across the benefice to create disciples of Jesus to the 20,000 people who live and work here.
We are seeking a Vicar for the benefice who:
- Emphasises prayer, and makes time to reflect and pursue their own discipleship
- Recognises that worship is the beating heart of our common life
- Will encourage all of us to be disciples of Jesus
- Is creative and imaginative in ministry
- Can navigate and lead change sensitively and embraces conflict maturely and skilfully
- Discern, encourage and enable everyone to use their gifts
- Is a strategic thinker and can identify priorities for the benefice
- Understands the complexities of a civic church as part of a united parish
- Will actively play their part in the Deanery and Diocese.
