We are Church St Helens: one parish with eleven churches and a team of ten stipendiary clergy, learning together what it means to work as a team to the glory of God in St Helens. We are aiming to work more closely with one another: bringing together our laity and clergy to be more effective in mission, discipleship, leadership and justice. This continues to be a work in progress and we are looking for a dynamic leader who can continue this journey of change with us.
You will have a heart for introducing people to Jesus, deepening discipleship, developing Christian leaders and working for justice. As part of the wider team you will find a contribution to the whole by developing a portfolio ministry according to your skills. We would love to develop our evangelism and our communications, but we would also love to see the passion and skills you will bring. We are looking forward to serving with you.
Note: this is a full-time permanent stipendiary post as Team Vicar. Housing is provided in one of our vicarage-standard houses in the parish.
